Mălina Ciocea is Vice-Dean for external evaluations and academic problems at the College of Communication and Public Relations, SNSPA. Habilitation in Communication Sciences. She leads the laboratory Communication, Discourse, Public Problems (CoDiPo) of the Center for Research in Communication. Coordinator of the MA program in Marketing, Advertising and PR, in partnership with the University of Sheffield, International Faculty, CITY College (2012-2021). Coordinator of the Scholarship Fellowship Spiru Haret for the study of the Romanian diaspora in SNSPA (2017-2020). Director of the research projects: The Communicative Construction of Public Problems in Contemporary Romania: the Media and the Public Sphere (2019-2022); Mediation and Mediatization in the Cinematic Memory of Romanian Communism (2014-2016);Construction of Public Problems through Media Debates in the Romanian Public Sphere(2012-2014).Member of the research team in several research projects and institutional development projects. Fields of interest: public problems in the Romanian public sphere; the problem of labor migration; development issues in the contemporary world.
