Irina Lonean holds a PhD in Political Science from Universite Libre de Bruxelles and the University in Bucharest, She’s also a BA in law and combines law and public policy studies in order to understand how policies become practices. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of youth, with a focus on youth inclusion. She is also an expert in monitoring and evaluation of policies, programmes and projects inthe following sectors: youth, formal and non-formal education, employment, social inclusion, good governance, public participation and public integrity. Irina gained experience in 12 years of working in Romanian and international NGOs and think-tanks with a mission to promote youth inclusion, human rights, the democracy and integrity. She conducted policy and programme evaluations for the Romanian government, UNICEF Romania, Transparency International. In 2016 Irina was a personal advisor of the Deputy Minsiter for youth within the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sports.
