Florența Toader is a lecturer and the coordinator of the English-language Master's program in Communication and Advertising. She is also a member of the Media Studies laboratory affiliated with the Center for Research in Communication. In the academic year 2020-2021, she was a "Spiru Haret" scholar. Since 2023, she has been a member of the editorial board of the Romanian Journal of Communication and Public Relations.
Her research interests have focused on the evolution of online political communication within the specific context of Romania. Current research topics include practices of legitimization in political discourse, social media and civic participation, migration, the use of legitimization discourses in influencer marketing, PR, and artificial intelligence.
