Camelia Crișan holds a PhD in Sociology and works as a Senior Lecturer leading the courses: Leadership, Professional development / Training, Recruitment and selection and Corporate Social Responsibility at the College of Communication and Public Relations within  NUPSPA. In 2013 Camelia has published her first book: „Corporations and Society: Corporate Social Responsibility between a Voluntary Act and an Obligation” – a thorough analysis of all theoretical aspects of CSR. Camelia has been involved in academic project connected in particular to CSR and digital storytelling. Apart from her academic career Camelia works as a consultant for public and corporate bodies as well as for projects implemented by The Progress Foundation. She has over 15 years of experience in the corporative and non-governmental field, she has provided guidance and support in organizational development to the National Library of Romania, National Library of Colombia, Vake Mediatheca (Georgia), IREX (USA). Within 2009 - 2015 Camelia has run the training department of the national program Biblionet, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Since 2011 she is part of the Training Work Group which is providing support to current and future grantees of the Global Libraries Initiative of BMGF. Camelia is supporting the values of inclusive education, organic models as they have been explained by Sir Ken Robinson - where the talents and skills of each student must be recognized, developed and built upon.
