Gabriela Dragan is a professor at the Faculty of International Business and Economics (ASE) and associate professor at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (SNSPA) and at the European Studies Center (UAIC Iași). Shee is also a vice-president of the Consultative Council for Sustainable Development, Government of Romania and a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the European Institute in Romania (IER). Within the IER, she run the institute as general director (2008-2019) and as a director of the Department of Studies and Analyzes (2001-2007); she was part of various commissions organized under the patronage of the Romanian Presidency and the Government; she has published in specialized magazines and scientifically recognized publishing houses. The areas of interest are European integration, European policies, regional development, international trade.
